Cardio or aerobic exercises are greatly beneficial for the body. It strengthens the heart and expands lung capacity. These exercises regulate metabolism while relieving stress. Enthusiasts of cardio exercises swear that it promotes restful sleep and a relaxed attitude. Most beneficial of all is that it burns body fat.

Running burns serious calories. A 145 LB person can easily burn 300 calories in 30 minutes.~Rowing – is a cardio exercise that gives your arms an incredible workout. A145 LB person can burn about 300 calories in 30 minutes.~Walking – Brisk walking is a less strenuous form of exercise but it can burn up to 180 calories in 30 minutes. Sprinting, adding hills or an incline can increase amount of calories burned.
