Fix Up

I recently went to my dentist after having been experiencing immense pain in one of my molars. It has been quite difficult to eat anything for the past few days, and not to mention the fact that I would have this stabbing pain in my mouth. I have also been suffering from headaches because of this. When I could no longer handle it, I immediately set an appointment with our family dentist.

I was told that one of my molars had been damaged, which is why some food particles that come in contact with the particular tooth is causing pain when they get lodged in it. My dentist told me, much to my relief, the problem can easily be fixed with veneers and together with dental glue for veneers. This way I can resume to eating without having to worry about the pain again. All it took was a few minutes, and I was good to go again!

In Time For Summer

Everyone wants to sport a great look for the summer. So early on, most individuals would already be building up a sweat in order to get fit. Girls would be walking down the shore in the skimpiest of bikinis, while men are clad in their colorful boardshorts with no shirt on. This is the typical style during the summer. Those who would be too conscious about their bodies would simply cover up and look too awkward.

The Weight Loss Tea

The name oolong comes from the Chinese meaning ‘black dragon’. It comes from the Camellia sinensis plant, the same plant from which green tea comes. The brew that comes out of the oolong tea is strong with a bitter tang and a sweet aftertaste. Both green tea and oolong tea contain powerful antioxidants. That is why both teas are popular in fighting disease and aging.

Oolong tea is also associated with weight loss; it is better than green tea in burning fat. It is however, less widely available than green tea. It can be purchased in whole leaves, tea bags or as a liquid extract. When brewing oolong tea, it should be allowed to steep for 3 to 4 minutes in water that has been boiled to 180 degrees F. The brew tends to have a strong flavor which can be adjusted by steeping for less time, using less of the tea leaves or adding a small amount of milk and honey.

Dealing with Palpitations

Palpitations are among the problems being encountered by those who suffer from thyroid problems. Some people would think this is only but a mere inconvenience, but this is a serious concern. Palpitations are irregular beats of one’s heart. The heart is that which pumps blood into our whole system. It this action is too slow or too fast then problems and irregularities may occur in our bodies. The palpitations we feel may be the signal of an impending heart attack.

Those with thyroid problems are required to drink their daily medications in order to avoid complications. It is important to also maintain a healthy diet to help a person maintain balance of nutrients and vitamins required by the body. Those who prefer natural treatment for thyroid problems take supplements along with a healthy diet in order to solve their problems on hypo or hyperthyroidism. This way, they can go back to their normal lives and do activities like any normal person would.

Controversial Weight Diet

People who are conscious about their weight are always on the lookout for ways to achieve their goal. The HCG diet is one that not many people are aware of. Others know about it but are afraid to try because of controversies surrounding this diet regimen. This diet consists of starving the body of protein and vitamins to the point where the body draws on reserve fats. This results in a body consisting of lean muscles and less body weight.

HCG is a hormone that is produced during pregnancy. It is Mother Nature’s way of providing nutrition for the fetus. The principle has found use among people who want to reduce their weight. By taking HCG both orally or through injections, they confuse the body and trick it into thinking that there is a fetus that needs nourishment. The body then draws from the reserve fat resulting in a lean body that also weighs less.

A Lesson Learned

I used to weigh a lot and by a lot I mean it’s more than 150lbs. I am a girl and you can just imagine the insecurities I had to go through. It was a very hard time for me. Those days were really one of the lowest points in my life. I know that I am the only one to blame on why that happened but it is still very saddening.

That’s why I took action and started to try and lose weight. I started with changing my diet and exercising too. Aside from that, I also made sure that I will never binge eat again. Now, I am already in a healthy weight stage and I am planning to keep it up. I also learned that toning your body is important so that the skin will look better and sagging will not occur. It’s very liberating!

Weight Loss in 7 Days

Oftentimes, we put deadlines on ourselves. “I should finish writing this by 3 pm”, or “I need to be out of here in 30 minutes”. How about ‘losing weight in 7 days’?
