abdominal exercises

I’m addicted to gym. I work out six days a week and I try to do at least a half hour of aerobic exercises and another half hour on weights. I do upper body workout Mon, Wed, and Fri and lower body workout Tues, Thurs, and Sat. I also do abdominal exercises almost everyday. Unfortunately, I still have a hard time getting washboard abs.

I get my abdominal exercises from magazines and books. I do a gazillion crunches and leg raises. I even bought a medicine ball. I also tried pilates and core training. What I’m not doing though is dieting. I love burgers and pizza and soda accompanies my every meal. I think what I need is a holistic approach to ab training, diet and abdominal exercises. I’ll also need professional help to help keep me on track. Maybe this summer I’ll get the washboard abs I always wanted.

Hoop dancing

There is one exercise craze today that kids and grownups are finding to be so much fun. Hoop dancing doesn’t feel like working out but it does provide lots of benefits for participants. It provides good cardiovascular system workout and strengthens core muscles among many other things.

Get along the path to physical wellness by buying a good exercise hoop. Avoid buying from toy stores as the hoops there are usually kid-sized. It is ideal that beginners use hoops with a larger diameter as they rotate slower and are easier to keep in motion. Once you get the hang of it, you can change to a smaller hoop to get a better workout.

nutrition loss weight

There are a lot of women who are willing to do many things to stay fit and beautiful. They undergo plastic surgery, yoga exercises and dieting. Skipping meals, no meals after six or different kind of dieting were done to keep off the dreaded fat. This kind of dieting without doctor’s supervision often goes wrong. Some experience yo-yo weight loss, feels sick or doesn’t have enough strength to go through one whole day.

Doctors and nutritionist have come up with nutrition loss weight. One doesn’t have to skip meals. On the other hand, you are advised to eat six or eight small meals a day. The important thing is you have to take note of what you put in your mouth. I’ve watched a show wherein the woman literally takes down notes of what she has eaten from morning to night. Eat less fat, less oil, less salt intake and less sweet. It doesn’t say that you have to avoid eating salty or fatty foods. It just reminds you to take small bites, to have mental awareness to eat small meals everyday.

I have always called it the Pilates ball because that was how I was introduced to it. It is really an exercise ball that is called by many other names including balance ball, body ball, fitness ball or Swiss ball.
