A lot of people are envious of the way most movie stars look. After all, they are sleek, sexy, and nicely proportioned. This envy stems from discontent in their own bodies, which might have unsightly bulges here and there. Before trying to change the way you look and aiming for a slimmer body, first look into what causes belly fat:
~ Low metabolism – some people eat in small amounts, but their bodies still can’t burn the calories off very quickly.
~ Eating when you really aren’t hungry – some let stress or physiological food cravings get the better of them.
~ Large appetites – overweight people tend to find themselves hungry most of the time and eat very large portions.
~ Hormonal imbalances – excess toxins in the body and not enough exercise can cause this problem.
~ Misconceptions of diet foods – these diet foods usually contain chemical additives that actually increase appetite.
~ Eating before going to bed – during sleep, your metabolism slows down so food does not get a chance to burn off, thus it easily converts to fat.
~ Growth hormones in meat and dairy products
