An exercise mat is a personal thing. You should choose one that you feel is best for you. However, the kind of mat you buy would depend on the kind of exercise you want to get into. Hard floors can be hard on the joints and bones. It can also lead you to the risk of slipping and hurting yourself.
Exercise mats come in all shapes and sizes depending on the customers’ needs. You can opt for a folding exercise mat which is thinner, or a rolled mat which is made of firmer rubber material. The latter is best for stretching exercises and yoga.
