Ingredients
* 1/4 cup low-fat ricotta cheese
* 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
* 1 whole wheat pita
* 6 slices veggie pepperoni
* 1/4 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
* 2 tablespoons sliced olives
* Garlic and Italian seasoning to taste
Instructions
1. Place unopened pita on a microwave or broiler safe plate. Spread tomato sauce on the pita and top with ricotta cheese. Top with the pepperoni, mushrooms and olives.
2. Sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian spices and broil or microwave for 2-4 minutes until bubbly.
3. *Variation – try using your favorite veggies such as green peppers!
