The rules of managing weight are quite clear. If you increase your activity level, you burn more calories. Not only that, it raises your metabolic rate which makes your body system work more efficiently. If exercise is helped by a diet plan, the effect will be even more pronounced. It will make you feel good about yourself and be encouraged to maintain your exercise and diet regimen.
You know you have succeeded in your fight against the bulge if you have learned how to fight hunger pangs. A glass of ice water will usually fight off the first hint of hunger. If you still feel hunger after a few minutes take a small pre-portioned snack. If you really must eat, do it in small portions. You can make a meal out of what you would consider an appetizer before you started on your weight management program.
