I have been trying to lose weight for months now and recently, I have found the perfect companion to my exercise and diet. In just a few weeks, he effect is really wonderful. hCG Diet Program

The latest diet trend is called the hCG diet program. It was developed by a doctor who believed that a hormone found in a pregnant woman’s body can help overweight men and women lose weight. The star in this diet program is human chorionic gonadotropin or hCG. It has many roles in the pregnant woman. One of its functions is to guarantee that a developing fetus has the right amount of calories and nutrients that it needs to grow. And it is not dependent of the mother’s caloric intake. More About Leptin

One of the hormones being researched for reducing weight is Leptin. Leptin is an appetite suppressant. It stops you eating too much as well as makes you more active so you burn off more energy. It is an ingredient that can be found in weight loss supplements such as MaxWLX. It is produced by a specific gene found in fat cells called the obese (ob) gene. Small amounts of leptin are also secreted by cells in the epithelium, stomach and placenta.

Leptin also acts directly on the cells of the liver and skeletal muscles where it stimulates the oxidation of fatty acids in the mitochondria. This reduces the storage of fat in those tissues. Leptin receptors are also present in T lymphocytes. The amount of Leptin found in people increases as their body fat increases. There is also a higher concentration of mRNA in fat from obese compared to thin subjects.

How to Lose Weight

Losing weight was a challenge. I was getting sicker by the minute, but I couldn’t control my eating habits. It was until that fateful day when I found out that my liver was on the verge of failure that I changed. I had to figure out how to lose weight fast. It was that, or I end up at the hospital and taking a lot of medicines enough to supply a drug store.

I went to visit a nutritionist and we determined my calorie intake. He told me to keep track of what I eat, and determine what I should cut back on. He emphasized on planning my meals, watching my servings, eating a lot of fiber and drinking a lot of water. Next, he told me to ask for help in making an exercise routine which I should follow without fail. He also told me to be confident that I will lose weight. I’ve been in this weight-loss program for two weeks now, and I must say, it’s working quite well.
