There are many types of diet that promote weight loss and people get confused by the different philosophies and opposite approaches. The good news is, researchers have found out that none of the diets came out ahead of the other. Basically, they found out that people lose weight with whatever diet they were able to stick to.
This means that if a person likes a diet and could follow it diligently, he will lose weight. Thus, if you can manage your weight and eat mindfully with whatever plan works for you, adhere to that plan for the long haul instead of going for the fad diets. For instance, there are those who successfully manage their weight by cutting down food portions while others substitute high fat foods with lower fat versions.
