Fat is not always bad. We tend to avoid fat because an excess of fat stored in the adipose tissue is the main reason for obesity. We are all aware of the increasing trend of obesity in our society so we are always conscious of making sure we are doing the right things to control accumulation of fat. We skip the fries when we crave for burgers. We opt for steamed rather than fried food.
But fat is not necessarily bad. We need fat for thermal purposes. The fat in our body serves to keep the necessary temperature the body needs. Fat around the organs serve as a protective cushion. Our body also needs stored fat to fuel metabolism. So, order your fries, but do it sparingly.
