Feel good about your body without endangering your health. Avoid subscribing to diet fads and weight loss programs that promise unbelievable immediate results. Chances are, they will do you more harm than good. Slow and steady is still the best way to go.

Here are some healthy weight loss tips:

~Don’t check your weight more than once a week.
~Avoid skipping meals or trying to starve yourself.
~Always eat a healthy diet and pay attention to the portions you get. Be disciplined in cutting down on the calories.
~Increase physical activities.
~Have 5 to 6 servings of fruits and vegetables daily including whole grains and low fat dairy foods.
